Karima has over 20 years of experience as a Certified Laser Technician, Skincare Specialist, and Electrologist. Her passion for skin health stems from her own struggles with acne and hormonal imbalances in her late teens and early 20s. Having been on Accutane, which has its own issues, she knew it wasn't a cure and had to find alternative solutions for attaining better skin.
Karima moved to Canada from England in 1996 and began her journey in Aesthetic in 2001. She attended Zeneba Academy to receive her Aesthetics Training and obtained her Laser Certification with Clarion Medical Technologies.
Educating her clients on how to achieve healthier skin is her passion. Karima goes above and beyond to establish a relationship with her clients. Giving her clients confidence in how they look, feel and becoming the best version of themselves is her goal.
Karima routinely attends training and courses to stay on top of the fast-paced world of skin care, striving to stay updated with new procedures and treatments.

Laser Hair Removal FAQ

Laser hair removal is permanent hair reduction. You will see anywhere from 80-90-% of your unwanted hairs permanently gone.
Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicles and destroying them using laser heat. As we all have hair growth at different stages, most clients will require several sessions to destroy the follicle.

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different and you may feel a little discomfort.
Most clients feel heat and others describe it as a band snapping against your skin. To minimize the pain you can use a topical anesthetic cream to numb the area before the treatment.

In most cases, you’ll need anywhere between 6 to 12 treatments, spaced out between 6 to 8 weeks apart depending on the area being treated.
The waiting period is necessary to target the hair follicle at the active stage of hair growth.

To reduce the risk of irritation or burns, we recommend shaving 24 hrs before your treatments.
